Sebastian Muenkwitz, Founder & Chef
Hello and Guten Tag!
Thanks for visiting me at my website. Here, you can learn a bit about me, my culinary background and experience some of the culinary dishes that I have created over the years. I have worked across the globe in destinations such as Berlin, The Alps in Austria, The Swiss Alps, the chic city of Agia Napa in Cyprus, and now stateside in the best city in the world, New York City! I have worked in restaurants, in hotels, in a country club, on cruise ships and in educational institutions for adults as well as children.
My training began in Europe where I gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts. While I can cook any type of cuisine, my specialties are German, Mediterranean and American cuisines. My career began in 2001 and I have worked myself up to an Executive Chef. I have had the honor to work with a popular TV chef, Rainer Strobel, who is the Executive Chef at the Sorat Hotel, in Berlin. My credentials include working in a Michelin nominated restaurant. However, I really enjoy working with fresh ingredients and herbs and spices with more simpler and organic food that can be presented in a modern and fresh way.
I am currently working for FliK Hospitality at the Convent of the Sacread Heart School NYC as a Executive Chef cooking up healthy,fresh meals for today’s youth so that they can energized to learn and be our world leader.

We were lucky to have Chef Sebastian for a private meal in CT in August. Amazing food, especially loved the cold cucumber and melon soup for the summer temperatures. Our white chocolate mousse was light and made with fresh blackberries and white chocolate.
I had the pleasure of having Chef Sebastian cook us a private meal for my Mom's 60th birthday and it was so delicious! He has very prompt and accommodated one vegetarian in our party without issue. He was amazingly easy to deal with and kept in contact with us regularly leading up to the event. He described each course in lovely detail but was not at all intrusive, and afterwards the kitchen was spotless. I would highly highly recommend!!!
